So you have a landing page for your VBS, Science Camp, or Marriage Seminar. Maybe you followed my landing page formula… found here.
You launch it. You announce it to your people.
Crickets.
We’ve all been there.
There are many ways to address this problem (first asking the question: Is this event/program right for my audience?), but I’ll share a simple solution today.
On every landing page, you need to either have:
Incentive
or
Urgency
or
Both
🏆 What does it look like to create a landing page with Incentive?
To summarize, the user gets a little prize for taking the desired action.
⏱️ What does it look like to create a landing page with Urgency?
To summarize, the user is motivated to take an action soon if they want in.
🏆 ⏱️ What does it look like to create a landing page with… both?
To summarize, the user better take action soon if they want the little prize.
You have to give people a reason to click on your Google form or take out their debit card in that moment. This little extra cognitive push makes all the difference.
Give this a try on your next landing page and let me know how it goes!
